Drinkers wanted for a Christmas Police Camera Action special
ITV1's Police Camera Action are looking for volunteers to take part in their Christmas special on drink-driving.
The programme, which will be broadcast in December, will consist of footage from a number of police forces, and will include an experiment to test our capacity to drive after drinking. The aim of the programme is to raise awareness about this important issue.
Do you think you may have driven whilst you have still been over the legal limit? Statistics show that more than 25% have driven whilst over the limit.
Are you willing to take part in a few simple experiments to see the effect that alcohol has on our ability to drive?
Everything will be provided by us.
The experiment will take place in north London the evening of 7 November 2008. All participants must be 18 or over. We will provide transport back home for volunteers.
NOBODY WILL BE ASKED TO DRIVE AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN DRINKING.
